Vincenzo Capone was a founding member of the Fremantle Fishing Cooperation. His name is represented on the fishing memorial at the Fishing Boat Harbour & his wedding photograph & brown flannelette fishing shirt is on display in the fishing section of the Fremantle Museum. He was married to Nunziata Capone (nee Santaromita) and was a much loved father to Maria, Miragliotta, Sarina and Mal Capone and grandfather to 13 children.
