Farmer in Scotland. On arrival at Fremantle went to Beverley where employed as farm hand. Then to Burracoppin area share farming. Moved to Katanning share farming. Purchased own farm. Married Mabel LAWSON and ran a dairy farm in Katanning. Later bought property in Kojonup 1949. Retired to Albany. One daughter Margaret.
