Worked as farm hand for a Mr Gully and then at Bundidup for Thomas Hayward. Was Gallipoli veteran with 11th Battalion. Received DCM. Was a POW for 16 months. Farmed in Benger until retirement in 1961. Moved to Mandurah. 3 children, Douglas, Lorna, and Ian.
