Adelmo arrived in Australia & was interned shortly after & sent to Rottnest. He first worked with his brothers at Bootenal near Geraldton. Later he went to Bunbury & opened up the Waterloo Brickworks with his brothers, Alceo & Adelio. Known as a hard worker, he was well liked by all the workers. He married Ester Calligaro on 29/7/1950 in Buja, Italy & returned to Australia. They settled in Bunbury having four children, Ricki, Lory, Loretta & Paul. He retired in 1968, invested in property in Bunbury & was a well-known figure in the community. He passed away on the 01/01/1990.
