Leda lived in a caravan with husband Angelo & son Claude until home was built by Angelo working at night laying bricks. She worked at Rosco Shirts in Welshpool as an ironer. Son Robert was born in 1958. Continues to be an active member of the Fiumanic Club in Welshpool.
