Read their story

Met and married Mary O'Gorman on 11/9/1892. Traveled to the Goldfields where he worked prospecting and running the water condenser. After contracting miner's disease he worked collecting sandalwood. Died and is buried in Kalgoorlie. Had 14 children and their decendants number approximately 230.

  • Is Jack Byrne one of James' and Mary's 14 children? He would of been living around Christmas Creek Station around the late 1930s. Possibly connected to Moola Bulla Station. Both stations are located North Northwest Western Australia.
