Whilst travelling as a merchant sailor, Tore fell in love with Western Australia. Together with wife Grethe and three young children, the family bravely left home, relatives, and friends to begin a new life in Perth. The Bøe's have since embraced this ‘lucky country' never forgetting their heritage.
