I (Jessica) left England at Southampton as a “£10 pom” on July 2nd 1970 on the FAIRSTAR with all my family seeing me off. It was a sad day but I had to look ahead then. I met my husband, Terry Hardiker on board. We married in 1971 and settled in Sydney. In 1981 we moved to and settled in Perth in 1981. We have two children, Tina born 1977 in Sydney and Jane born 1982 in Perth.

  • After many years to and from UK I have now settled in Perth with my two daughters and their familys.

  • I have now retired, my daughter Tina married Iain Muir in 2001, and have now settled in Perth and have 2 children Fraser & Isla. Jane married Gareth in 2008 and has now settled in Perth and has 1 Child Zara.
