Read their story

The 'Hougoumont' carried the last shipment of convicts to Australia. Thomas married Sarah Ann Smirk in 1880 at Rockingham. They moved to South Fremantle and had ten children. Thomas was a gardener with Fremantle Municipal Council it's believed that he planted the row of beach pines at South Beach.
