Alec spent his younger years working on farms in Dowerin & Dalwallinu, then 42 years working with the WAGR, mostly in Brunswick Junction. After retirement from the WAGR, he helped friends at Waterloo & Jerdacuttup. Alec had a love of open spaces though his greatest love in life were his five children.
