Read their story
On arrival in Fremantle in 1953 and having been sponsored by a friend in Nannup, we continued down there, where we lived for 2 years. My husband Francis worked with the Kauri Timber Co. as a Fitter in the mill. This was a complete change from Scotland but very enjoyable. Subsequently we moved to the metro area where we still are and have become citizens of Australia. We have a family of 4 children - Andrew, Philip, Eileen and Cathie.
