The Revd Edward and Janet Burbidge and their sons William, Andrew and Thomas arrived in Fremantle in 1947. Revd Burbidge was Canon of the Anglican Pro-Cathedral in Bunbury until 1954 when he and Janet moved to Wagin and then to Mandurah in 1958 and Mt Pleasant in 1965.
