Stephen & his family settled in North Perth. The family bought their first house in 1949. A grocery business was purchased in 1950. Both were in Fitzgerald Street, North Perth. They spent most of their lives in Wembley after moving there in 1951. Stephen worked in the Midland Workshops from 1951 until 1971.
