Mary married James Alexander Thomson on 16/04/1914. Alex was born in Bordertown in S.A and took up land in Quairading district in 1908. They raised 9 children John, Grace, Alexander, Jean, Elizabeth, Rowland, Donald, Bruce and Margaret at their farm 'Blair Athol. Retired to Tammin where buried.
