Hilda arrived with three young daughters to join husband Ernest on virgin land at Babakin. What a shock for a city girl and a postman husband. Their gimlett & bag house with saplings and chook wire beds, chaff filled mattresses, earth floor, no windows or water. Three sons were born at Babakin.
