Arrived in Perth (aged 26) on his own. The first of his family to do so. Later joined by his brother (Fortunato Brolese) lived in East Perth and Mt Lawley 28 years. Married Ginetta Spadano (1960) and raised three children Maria, Nadia and Lino Brolese. Grandfather to Jack, Luca and Emily Johnson.
