During the war, Alf was with Rolls Royce & Ethel, munitions. Married December 1st 1945. Just prior to emigration, both worked for 'Combe Hay Manor, Somerset'. Lived Chittering, Midvale & Gooseberry Hill. Alf - 35 years Commonwealth Government Civil Engineering. Ethel - shop assistant. Three children - Lynne, Carol & Valerie and six grandchildren.
