Known by her middle name Maude. Brought son Arthur to this land of opportunity. Later Maude married second husband, Joe Emery and accompanied him on railway postings to WA country towns, before retiring to Subiaco. Her only son, Sidney Arthur Breeden gave her three grandchildren, Bet, Rob and Sid.
