Bertie and Ellen first went to Northcliffe with Group 104. Stayed 6 months before moving to a ready built house at Jarnadup (Jardee) Group 21 with their daughters Frances and Nell and had two sons William (died) and Bertram. Four years later left for Perth permanently and had another son Robert.
