George Brand (convict) sentenced to 14 years for theft in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ticket of Leave date 02/04/1856. Wife Isabella & 4 children migrated to Fremantle on the HAMILLA MITCHELLl 06/04/1859. Settled in Greenough 1861 as a tenant farmer on the Ironbarks property. George Brand died 03/09/1872 following a buggy accident.
