Read their story

Migrated in 1923, worked cutting sleepers down the South West. Was naturalised 24th May 1929. Returned to Italy and married, had two daughters. Then came back to WA in 1938 to establish a home for his family. They followed in 1939. He worked at Hoffman Mill as a feller. When war broke out he was man powered. Then worked on wood line at Lakewood until his death in 1946.
