James Boxall, (born Brigstock, North Hamptonshire, England) travelled ahead of his fiance, Miss Elizabeth Kirk (born Skunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England) who arrived in 1929. Served in Darwin as an Aircraft Fitter WWII. Granted War Service land. Settled in Kondinin as a farmer. Retired to Perth in 1963.
