Jim and Muriel arrived in Fremantle on 28th June 1947 on board the ship Orion. They bought a block in Mathieson Road Redcliffe for £50 and built the family home. Son Stephen James born 10.04.50 and daughter Susan Elizabeth born 23.07.53. Muriel's father Gwilym Evan Richards (1895 - 1961) immigrated to WA on 01.11.1952
