Read their story

On the 9/2/1956, Maria and eldest daughter, Nunziata left in a ship called 'Flaminia' for a better life in Australia. She worked extremely hard with her beloved husband Santo & family in their dairy farm & cheese factory at Byford - 'Borrello Cheese'. She was the first successful woman in WA to be a cheese maker of Italian style cheese beginning in East Wanneroo. She is a true Italian pioneer of this country!
