The Booker family left Bradford during the Depression to join the Group Settlement Scheme at Denmark (Group 139), later called Hazelwood & continued to live there until they moved to Albany. Annie & John Booker then moved to Fremantle where they continued to live until the end of WWII. Jack & Fred joined the RAAF at the outbreak of war.
