  • Hello, I am looking for relatives of Grace H Blackburn. Twenty years ago I acquired this wonderful painting signed by Grace H Blackburn 1892. I had it professionaly cleaned at the time. The antique dealers told me the artist became the Countess of Wemyss, second wife of 10th Earl of Wemyss; and daughter of Major Blackburn.

As I am old now, I wish to sell the painting so am reaching out to people that might be interested. If you know anyone with a family connection, it would be appreciated if you could forward this message with the pictures to her descendants or other interested people.
I have enjoyed my art collection and on the rare occasions I have sold a piece, I have contacted family connections first giving us great pleasure knowing the painting has found a fitting home.

I currently live in Perth Western Australia.
