Arthur and Nellie Bishop with their four children had land allocated enabling them to go farming. Their eldest son continued on the original farm after their retirement. Sidney was a very prominent citizen in the life of Lake Grace. The farm is still in possession of Arthur Bishop, great grandson.

My grandmother was Florence Bishop. She married Harold John Coad, a farmer in Lake Grace and WW1 veteran. They together established "Wolsely" a beautiful farm south of Lake Grace and had five children Helen, Elizabeth, Edward, Andrew and Peter. Peter was my father and went out on his own when the time came. He established another farm and sheep stud at Lake Grace called "Big Hill" (called this for obvious reasons.) Peter married my mother Frances (nee McLoughlin of Boyup Brook.) They had three children, Amanda, Wanda and Eden. Peter and Frances moved to Westonia and purchased a property in 1991 near Warralakin. It is a beautiful farm with nature reserves and granite outcrops. They built a beautiful home here however Peter's untimely death in an accident in 1997 meant he could not live to enjoy his dream. The family still own the property and will continue to love the land and live in the Western Australian farming spirit.
