Left Spanish Airforce & was unemployed. Wanted to have a better life in Australia. Original destination was Melbourne. Whilst on board ship some work had been organized at Bunnings in Bridgetown. When arrived at Fremantle- was escorted by Police to train station, started work at mill on 5/4/62. Couldn't speak English at the time.
