Arrived in Australia aged 24. Joined his father who had arrived in the 1930's. Began work as a underground miner at Sons Of Gwalia. Worked at Hill 50 Gold Mine Mt Magnet. Married Mary in 1955. Settled in Geraldton. Four children. Australian Saftey Miner of the Year 1966 Wittenoom.
