Mary Ann came to Australia with her children (Mary aged 3yrs & Sarah aged 1yr) to join her husband (James Hector Bell) who was convicted of pick-pocket larceny & tranported in 1852. Granted his Ticket-of-Leave 13th June 1853. Complete Pardon 16th June 1855. Became a farmer & had 4 more children.
