J F Beekmeijer left the Netherlands March 1952. His wife and two children sailed three months later on the same immigrant ship. J F was the first member of his family to migrate to Australia. He is survived by his 6 children. His wife Georgina died in March 2004 aged 79 years in Tasmania.
