Alfred's wife Jessie & five children (Bill, Lon, Ken, Thelma & Peter) came out to join him in 1914. They sailed into Fremantle on the 'Osterley' on 19 January 1915. By 1927 they were able to purchase a farm at Mukinbudin, WA.
