William arrived in WA aboard the 'Lotus' on the 6 October 1829 with his wife Mary & their 5 children. He was indentured to Col. Latour. After the collapse of the Latour Scheme, they lived in Perth & Guildford for a time before settling on the Murray River at Pinjarra on the JimJam property.
