Read their story
With only what they carried, and their two year old son, they settled in Carnarvon on a plantation. After three years, moved to Naval Base (South of Fremantle) & cleared their property by hand for a market garden, which they ran until retirement in 2004. They also had a daughter, born in Fremantle, and 5 grandchildren.
