Arthur aged 21 and single, chaperoned his cousin's 2 daughters - Rosetta Sunnucks (14) and Stella Sunnucks (12) to their parents in Fremantle. Arthur was the only one to come to Australia leaving his mother and father and 5 siblings behind never to see them again. SS Australind carried steel railway lines for the Trans Continental Railway Line across the Nullabor Plain. Arthur was employed at Cresco Fertilisers (WA) Ltd for 30 years at Bayswater WA.
