Arthur arrived with his mother Lucy. He married Phyllis Noble (Barrabool 1923). He moved to Carmel in 1945 to work the orchard jointly owned with his mother until 1969. Owned a farm at Mogumber for a few years. Retired in Lesmurdie with Phyllis.
