John Barker became a distinguished artist in Narrogin & Albany. John printed many portraits of renowned personnel. To name a few: Mr Bertie Johnston M.L.A. for Narrogin & Mr Franklin the 1st Perth Lord Mayor. He made a gift of ten paintings of historical sites in Albany to the Albany Town Council.
