Josephine and Charlie Baldacchino left Malta for Australia with their 6 children Mim, Jospeh, Maria, Lilly, Rita and Laurie in August 1963 and arrived in Fremantle in September 1963. The family lived with other relatives in Bayswater before settling in their own home in Ashfield.
