Married on the Isle of Wight in 1964, Gerald & Maureen arrived in Fremantle in 1965 and built a house in Spearwood two years later. Both worked at WAME Robb Jetty, Gerald as a fitter, Maureen as a telephonist. They had two daughters, Karen (1970) and Vanessa (1973)
