Left war-torn Europe in 1950 with husband Wasilij & daughters Ludmilla & Alexandra. Settled in Northam, purchasing family home in 1953. Worked in cafes, trains, hotel & then St. Christopher's Boys Hostel for 33 years. Visited Russia twice. Enjoyed communicating with relatives in Belarus, dressmaking and gardening.
