After WWII, he kept a small furniture business open. Clients demands was there but on delivery they couldn't pay. Finally he closed up and migrated to WA. Worked for Kelly and Sons - Millars Timber - Doust and Bunnings as a Carpenter Joiner. Being always with migrants never mastered English language and this deprived him of opening his own business.
