Paul Atkins: MA Cambridge (History) and published author 1947. Taught in Central Africa as missionary/teacher for U.M.C.A. Returning to England he studied for the priesthood and married Joy Carpenter in 1939. The couple had three children and emigrated in 1957 to give them a better future.
