Left Italy age 19 for a better life. First job in Wittenoom. While travelling WA worked in a butchery, as a plant operator, gardener, orderly, on the railway lines and then opened barber shop in Bruce Rock before settling in Gosnells and then Morley. Successful small business owner in "Joe's One Stop Shop" and TV Repairs. Married, had five children and grandchildren.
