Convict No. #9649 ( housebreaking 14 years) Arrived last convict ship to Australia. Ticket of leave 23/09/1873. Married Alice Ashworth 24/06/1875 York. Blacksmith in York. Had seven children Edmund, George, Eva, John, Amy, Lillian & Charles. Father was Thomas, confectioner/grocer in Preston, UK.

  • I have recently found this connection with the last convict ship to arrive in Fremantle to my dads family. Eva Anderton was my dads grandmother. Five generations of our family have lived in Fremantle.
