Alfred Alsford worked at the Jarrahwood sawmill before moving to Busselton where he later became the traffic inspector and served on the Sussex Road Board. A further three children were born into the family Alfred, Ethel May, William. Alfred remarried in 1933 and lived in Thomas Street Busselton until 1972.
