Arriving just before crash of 1929. Worked briefly at farm at Cuballing, then had to find work in the Goldfields, jumping trains. Met Marjorie Hill, a teacher, after working on stations in Gascoyne. Settled on Baldrock farm, Cuballing. Raised 4 children.
