Harold Aitken married Elizabeth Auchterlonie and they migrated to Australia in 1910. Harold was a carpenter and built their first home in Ellesmere Street, Mount Hawthorn. They had three children, Stanley (born 1911), May and Connie. When Stanley was 11 years old, the family moved back to Scotland.
