(a) Navigational aid for pilot use for dead-reckoning, in times of failure etc., to give direct readout on glide ratio performance. Additional function is the exponential distance to horizon indicator.
(b) Time reckoning device for distance to fall in seconds, for parachutists. Used in connection with 'ALTIMASTER' Altimeter. Instructions and certificates of registration of design in supplementary file.
