Red crown fairly high, brim narrow and partly turned up. Band of black petersham ribbon, where crown meets brim, tied in a bow on one side. Finishing edge of petersham ribbon on brim. White stitching over whole of hat forming squares, dark red stitching forming geometric patterns. Band of velvet inside crown. A Henry Heath of brick coloured felt and cobweb stitching.
