Black velvet. Close fitting, straight sides, round crown, no brim. Indent where crown and sides meet, fold on one side. Long black feathers attached to other side. Band of black petersham ribbon inside crown and cotton label 'A/ MADGE GRACIE/ MODEL'. All hand sewn.
